[it had already been a long, hard week, but the cafe's renovation and remodeling was coming along nicely. in another week, it should be back and operation

Are you all right, Tamaki? [Because being tackled by a dog would probably hurt him, so you know.]

Haha, yes I'm fine. [manages to sit up as the golden retriever comes to his side before moving toward Austria. mooore peeeople.]

[Good dogs don't jump! But Austria is used to dogs and doesn't mind them if they behave, so he holds his hand out as Marie moves closer. Don't you dare jump, puppy.]

Encouraging her jumping will only make her more likely to do it, you know.

[she's kind of getting that "This guy is very serious" tone and looks up at Austria before bumping his hand with her wet nose.

in the meantime, Tamaki was taking the opportunity to stand up and brush himself off before looking at the older man a little sheepishly.]

She usually tends to just jump me. This is actually the first time I've seen her since the flood so...[nervous laugh.] But you're right. She does tend to get rather excitable.

[And Austria is glad for that, really. Since Marie is behaving, he will pet her head for a bit while still talking with Tamaki.]

Really? That's the same with Hungary's horse, actually. Thankfully she's back now. It would've been far too difficult to find another for her.

You as well? I've heard similar things from others who had pets. I wonder where they disappeared to...

Ah, but how is everything? Is your mansion all right?

[He's not too fond of being licked, but he can deal with it. Marie is behaving herself, and well-behaved animals don't need to be scolded.]

So long as they are safe now, I doubt it matters where they went. As for my mansion, well, it's still rather waterlogged and nowhere near completely restored. It's better than it was before, however. And you?

Same for the apartment, haha. However I was thinking that maybe we should take this opportunity to move somewhere bigger-like a house.

Well, if there was any time to do such a thing, it would be now. It would likely save you trouble later on if you moved now.

Yes, particularly since things are still be repaired. We'd have to get new furniture anyway. Hopefully I'll find someplace close to the cafe.

That should hardly be too difficult to find. How many people do you have living with you, if I might ask?

Six including me, plus Marie.

But there should be at least one extra bedroom, as well as an attic loft that we can use for a room as well.

There seem to be several larger homes in this area. You'll likely have no difficulty securing one.

I actually have my eyes on one in the neighborhood just across from here! Still smaller than what most of us are used to back home, but I actually find the smaller size more quaint and appealing.

I doubt there are any homes similar to those I'm accustomed to living in back home. My home here--while certainly lovely and spacious--is dwarfed by both Schönbrunn and the Hofburg. I assume it's the same with you? [the difference being that Austria does not like the smaller size.]

Haha, well...I've only ever lived in the second house, so I'm actually not sure how large the main house is. But to think you lived in the palaces! That's just simply amazing!
