We go through so much of our life unconscious, just one of pavlov's dogs responding to stimulus and following our patterns. I used to be against gay marriage. It was a very long time ago, and not really a very strongly held opinion, but it was mine nonetheless. I'm not proud of that, but back then I had not considered the issue very deeply, my stance was reflexive and my immediate though was "why would gays want to get married?" Yesterday was an amazing day for my two beautiful children.

JuanDi "look ma no hands!" stood without assistance for the first time and even took a step.

Sofia swam in deep water without floaties for the first time.

I love my kids!
