"No problem at all. So, what's the word on the big fellow? He going to be a problem? Did you get him fixed up? And more importantly..Did you notice any convenient weaknesses just in case?"

Odessa quirked a brow, closing the door behind her friends and leaning against the frame, arms crossed under her bust line, her smile fading as she returned to a more business-like frame of mind.

"Not to sound like a bitch, love, but if we need to kill it..Him... I need to know how. There're more than enough supplies left around this base to make something to put a...whatever he is...down. If you'd be so kind as to write up a report of some sort for me to look over later on, that'd be best..."

Tina was positively glowing at the warm welcome from Sierra, and especially Booker. He was obviously a charming rascal, much like Ron had been. So she took his words as light-hearted flirting with no depth to it and told herself not to fall seriously for such blandishments.

Then Odessa's stark words startled her out of the happy illusion of safety. That must be why Odessa is the chief, and how she has stayed alive so long. She doesn't really trust easily and well, she plans for the worst.

Tina's smile faded just a bit. This was going to take getting used to.

Booker had just served himself a bowl of beans from the pot when Odessa asked her questions and he paused with a frown before slowly leaning back against the wall. The frown remained as he answered, giving the matter thought. "I don't believe Damage is a threat to us, unless it's accidental. He's large and grumpy, but at the same time, he could have easily killed us right there if he had wanted to ( ... )

Sierra had already turned to head for the ladder down into the workroom when Odessa's request brought her to a halt. Booker's words eased the obvious tension out of her shoulders, but still she did not turn around to respond, her words weighted with formality and clarity.

"My assessment is in agreement with Booker's. Had he wished to do us harm, he would have. I intend to give him no reason to wish to, and so I am afraid I must respectfully decline to write such a report. If it becomes necessary, I will advise you on how he might be neutralized."

"I am no longer hungry, thank you," she added, making her decent into the work-room without any further word or hesitation. "There are a lot of things I need to test, if I'm going to make Hover more functionally useful."

Odessa simply stared after Sierra as she left, and then turned her attention to Booker. The look she gave him was...Unpleasant. Unsettling.

"And who's to say I haven't already done that? I've had to do it before, and if need be, I will do it again. This group is my responsibility, and the more people who end up in Solluna, the more I have to plan for the future. Anyway, I'm overdue to go take my watch on the roof."

Odessa pushed herself away from the door frame, moving over to the table she used as a work bench from time to time. She gathered up her rifle, as well as one of the folded rain slickers she used when Solluna's "weather" took a turn for the worse.

She pulled the poncho over her head and adjusted it before shouldering her rifle, adjusting the strap and leaning over to her container full of shells on the table top. She fished out a fistful of shells and spun on her heels, making her way out the bunker door and speaking as she nudged the entry closed.

"I'll yell if I shoot anything worth cooking."
