The most unexpected highlight of my weekend: driving through Deep Ellum and spotting an older biker dude with no shirt, long hair and sunglasses tenderly caressing his large pet iguana whom he'd let out to bask in the sun on a concrete wall. -

light_pattern got himself the perfect early Xmas present with his company bonus this year: a Nikon D90 (upgrading from his D50). Now that he can do video - in HD, no less! - he decided to try it out with a video featuring Musket enjoying her super-strength catnip carrot:

These literal music videos have been in constant rotation with my circle of friends for days (which, given the increasingly short half-life of the Internet, is saying something). They're remarkably easy to sing along with and I'm surprised I haven't found any more as good as these ( Read more... ) -
