Eh, they've been remotely popular in Western Europe for about a year now.... They've been rebranded "Aladin pants", probably trying to get rid of Hammer connotations. I'm not a fan.

Yeah, dropped crotch is back in. Looks stellar on wispy thin Asian girls rocking that whole Alex Wang/Erin Wasson/nu street urchin look. It's very much a hipster/fashion-y people thing so I doubt it'll have much mainstream impact.
