I just want to clarify that I'm not arguing that Dumbledore *did* send Petunia any more letters. Clearly he didn't. I'm saying he could have. It was an option, and maybe it could have made a difference to Harry's home life.

Good point about Draco. But now Dumbledore's gone. :( I'm getting really excited for book 7 (obviously). At first I didn't like the idea that he wasn't going back to school, but now that gives me chills. It will be interesting to see more of the non-school magical world, especially the underside. Think we'll see any hags? There's been some foreshadowing already. :D

Ah, I read that wrong. But I see what you're saying. I wonder if there is still more to be uncovered about why he was left with the Dursleys. Apparently we are still going to learn more of significance about Lily and Petunia so it seems a reasonable expectation ( ... )
