In retrospect, my idea of "short" may qualify me for a Ph.D. (or, Permanent Head Damage). Joy.

Grey's Anatomy - Do you know the full story with this? The creator intended the second episode (or second hour, as you saw it) to be the premiere of the season. But the suits at ABC thought it was too confusing to be thrust right back into all the storylines, so they had them create a new premiere that was mostly recap to catch everyone up, which is why the first hour became the second hour. To further complicate things, viewers in Canada (and maybe some in the states) didn't get the memo, and aired the "second" episode at its original time, which meant y'all got to see it a week earlier than most people in the states.

Desperate Housewives - Agreed, though I think this season will be better than last. (Gaby: My cheating was completely upfront and honest!)

Survivor - The whole racial thing in the media was so ridiculous. There were people in the states calling for them to change the plan, or pull the show before it aired. And I'm like, you're all idiots for the way you're acting about this "issue." The season is filmed months ( ... )

Ha. The whole two hours was aired at once here, and are airing two hours of Grey's Anatomy this week again, probably to make up for last week. Or something. I wasn't really paying attention ( ... )

I can only commit to a couple of shows per season. Right now it's Grey's Anatomy and Brothers and Sisters. I also watch Anderson Cooper's 360° on CNN occasionally.

Can't wait for the second season of The Closer to come out on DVD. I got into it about halfway through the second season, and immediately borrowed the first season from netflix.

I really should check Brothers and Sisters out. How would you rate the show in comparison to Six Feet Under, Ally McBeal, etc? And Anderson Cooper is HOT. I watch that show whenever I stumble upon it too. ;)

I haven't seen The Closer. What's it about? Is it still on the air?

Surprisingly enough, I actually found myself watching the season premiere of Desperate Housewives a few weeks ago (I blame my sister), even though I've always kinda turned up my nose at it. And now? I may actually watch some of these season.

...I mean, I won't go out of my way to watch it or anything, but I won't ignore it completely now, either.

Nice! It's definitely more interesting than it was last season, but my loyalty has completely died down. I'll watch it as long as it's not totally inconvenient to me. Glad you're enjoying it!
