Jane Espensen is the show runner, and lets face it, she wrote some of the most boring episodes of BSG, so... I don't expect it to get much better.

I didn't really pay attention to who wrote which episode, but I will take your word for it. I mentioned to the person I was watching it with that it was like all the least interesting parts of BsG all rolled together.

Me too. It's long even for a pilot. And not much happens, which worked on BSG, but not with these characters.

I kinda liked it, or at least certain aspects (Joseph Adama/Daniel Graystone - I ship it!), but it's no BSG. I'll probably still tune in come January.

I like them, I just don't find them interesting. But like with Dollhouse, I'm willing to give it a couple more shots out of loyalty.
