Yay first comment!

And seriously, I love your Torchwood works, especially this 'verse. Thank you for updating it!

I like your Gwen voice Most of the time, the other fics that I read happen to have an element of Gwen-bashing, no matter how small, that sort of makes me dislikes Gwen just on principle. Safe to say, this is not one of those.

It's much harder to find a fic that doesn't totally put Gwen down, and this story is one of those. I can actually see what RTD/Gwen-lovers like in Gwen with this - even if I don't agree with Season 3/4/etc. Thanks again. :D

Lovely work! <3

edit: I Forgot to add two of my fav lines: “Is it enough?” Gwen asked. Jack tilted his head questioningly. “Protecting us like you do. Giving up yourself to do that. Is there anything left for you? Is it enough, what you’ve got for yourself?”
and
Tattling, instant-coffee-feeding, paperwork-demanding soul-stealers. Jack couldn’t wipe the grin off his face as he got back to work.

That was lovely. I adore slice-of-life stuff and like Gwen to be like she is here - pushy but understanding, a real person and still slightly on the outside so we get a "normal" point of view. Jack was perfect, and funny :)

Very sweet little taster here. I love this verse, so it's nice to see any little snippet from it! Cheers for writing it when you clearly have limited time.
