Robin, your pictures are stunning! They're a beautiful memory of your trip. I'm so glad you had a wonderful time. *g* To paraphrase a song, I know that every time you've visited, "you left your heart in New York City," instead of San Francisco.
The pictures are wonderful! I am so glad you had a great trip. I like the theme this year. That is what I would want to do if I ever got a chance at this trip. Who knows maybe one day. :)
Great photos! I really enjoyed your slide show. I'm surprised how empty Central Park appeared-I guess because it was during the week? I like how you had to take photos of squirrels, dogs and the 'Eat Me' sign! :D
It was getting busy around Bethesda Fountain the day I was there for a sit and read and people watch. But the area I entered on my way to the museum may be always a quiet area.
What is a trip to New York without pictures of squirrels and dogs and odd restaurant signs! LOL!!
I didn't even know you missed my comment! Even if I did notice, I know you wuv me! :) :)
What is a trip to New York without pictures of squirrels and dogs and odd restaurant signs! LOL!! You're absolutely right. The only thing missing is a few photos of NY firemen! :P
In a photo album, somewhere, I have a picture of them arriving outside a theatre as I waited to buy tickets. After checking them out, I worried that the theatre was on fire! lol It wasn't.
Glad you had such a good trip! What wonderful photos! But did you get up a the crack of dawn to take them? All the streets seem so empty considering the population of NYC!
It felt like the crack of dawn, but it was really 7:30 most days. lol
I think many of the picture are in areas that are not overrun by tourists.
But I did find it interesting how easy it was to get around Friday night and it did make me wonder if the economy was keeping people away. That and the rivers that run from the numerous downpours throughout the day. lol
