It's quite well done and all, but I must say I'm grateful for the light-hearted Dave bits. It's generally quite depressing and a story about how one man's insane paranoid jealousy destroys him and his family. Yippee. Thank gods for Daves, though! He's lovely in it.

This was the first thing I ever saw Dave in, and I LOVED him. Like you say, so many of the characters were douches, but Gibson's raised eyebrows, wonky eye, TGAH NGAH TNUGH noises and WHAT THE SHIT faces won my heart. He was an arrogant little git and I'm glad he got pwned, but he was so much fun.

(Did anyone else want to wring the necks of the main characters? I did.)

YES! Though I loved Ron Cook as Mr. Bozzle and Fenella Woolgar as Arabella.

Thank god I wasn't alone! There's enough crazy uberjealousy and custody fights exactly like that going on IRL, so it's not exactly entertaining for me. BUT GIBSON AND THE FRENCH GIRLS. It was great comedy stuff. Both the chicks were funny (I loved Fenella's 8-D faces) and Barbara Flynn is always good for comedy stuffs, too. And the music was effing gorgeous.
