I hope everyone enjoyed/survived the holidays! Despite the awkwardness of the first post-separation Christmas I did have a very nice break. It helped that Dad was out of town over actual Christmas; he was relaxing on a beach in San Juan for Christmas and New Year's! Of course, I'm sure he'll be flying somewhere horrid next month to make up for it.

Really?
I walked home tonight in 30 degree weather. WALKED. I can't imagine how you survived DC.

Well, I was wearing about 5 layers of clothing, and I used about 10 heat packs in my pockets and shoes! I can't layer up like that every day. Plus, the Inaugural excitement helped keep me warm.

that is really sweet of buckley though - and the blinds sound lovely!
by the way, are we still on for my UN-bachelorette party on feb. 19th? i was able to get off work that night and the next day... ;) she just made our schedule for the next THREE MONTHS (sheesh!) so i had to go ahead and ask off or risk having to work. blah. anyway, ROLL TIDE!! i hate we all couldn't get together this time, but it was a late game (too late to have little man out) and of course it was BEJEESUS cold!
