Huge turn in the weather the past week now. We went from highs in the 50's to high's in the 80's and close to 90 a few times. The trees and flower are just exploding with color..., and pollen. Seriously. The pine pollen is thick this year. Usually it just coats everything lightly with yellow dust for a week or two. This weekend it was like a

We went from 50's to 70's last week close to 80 one day, but today it's back in the 50's and supposed to rain tomorrow. How is your shoulder doing, btw?

Shoulder still on the mend, but on the road to recovery. It's just a slow process to make sure I don't get any more inflammation. I can bike on flat surfaces. Doctor said to stay out of the woods--avoid jarring motions for the shoulder and anything associated with a higher risk of falling.

Glad to hear it is on the mend. Dr's advice seems sensible but I bet you are starting to itch to go trail riding soon :-).

With this whacky weather and friends pestering me to see if I'm ready to hit the trail? Oh, yeah. I need some new ways to burn calories.

A UPS truck just turned around in my cul-de-sac sending plumes of dusty pine pollen billowing everywhere. All it take is 15 minutes of no traffic on the street and the next car that comes along looks like it's sending up clouds from the dust bowl days...
