Writing Updates: Dragons Meeting - Pure Love in Kamurocho

Catherine
Console: Playstation 3
Start: September 1, 2011
Finish: September 4, 2011

Started Catherine. Love the art and the music! AND THE PUZZLES. The puzzles own my soul, I really couldn’t be happier. I really enjoyed the puzzles (I know I might have mentioned that before). I like that it kinda plays like a graphic novel, at least my choices affected the game. I always find that a lot of fun. I felt like the story was a little disjointed, but considering Vincent’s sleep deprivation, I really can’t complain about that. I got the True Lovers ending, so I’ll try not to spoil anything. But I have no idea what the other endings are. I’m just glad I got Katherine. I like her a lot better than Catherine and I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to play through the “cheater” endings. And I’m not sure that the trophies for them are that important to me over all. So yeah, for now I’m done with this game. I can definitely replay it later. I wasn’t able to save Daniel, so that’s about the only thing I’d go redo right now.

I really want to play an RPG. The only RPGs we have for the PS3 are Final Fantasy XIII and Resonance of Fate. Cherri just beat FFXIII and is playing RoF so it would be silly for me to play them (since I’ve been watching her play them). I was thinking about Parasite Eve II so I can finish up that, as it’s the only one I haven’t beaten. But then I was thinking I need to finish up Blazing Souls: Accelate (I dumped Lord of Arcana for it)! I played Tree of Tranquility at the same time then put down BSA down when I got Yakuza. It’s been a long time since I benched a game, so I probably ought to pick it up and finish it. I think I’m near the end too! Although Dragon Quest Vi might not be a bad choice. And I also have Glory of Heracles…and Legend of Heroes: Tears of Vermillion. Well, it’s not like I have a shortage of games. That’s not the problem. The problem is I have no idea what I want to play beyond, “RPG.” I think I should finish up Blazing Souls though. I’d really like Harvest Moon: Tale of Two Cities but it doesn’t come out until the 20th. So I need something to play until then! Preferably an RPG. Hah. Ah, I’ll think of something, gaming helps me relax after homework.

I’m already halfway done with my homework for the week. I’m so awesome! I’ll still need to do some sections today, but that’s not a bad thing. I think I can do my quiz today too. I probably ought to get that outta the way before I get too wrapped up in the next section.
