Perhaps Harry will end the evening with green hair? Or will the birthday balloons all pop? The Weasleys or Minerva be forced to silence by an "accidental" defensive hex?

I don't see Snape as a man who appreciates surprises. He had so many unpleasant things, so many things to always be on guard about as a spy, that it doesn't seem like something he'd enjoy. But Harry meant it to be a good thing! He was trying to be sweet and kind!
