The baby was still in NICU and likely would be for a few more weeks. Piper was going to be there everyday until he was allowed to go home.

He was still nameless at the moment. She was going to have to do something about that soon.

Meg didn't make it to the clinic until early evening, and she paused at the door, looking through the window at Piper and then her eyes fell to the tiny baby in the incubator. It was her fault he was there.

"Thank you for that, so much," she said, relieved. "I'll try not to spoil him too much."

Meg bit her lip, thinking. "Would you allow me to mention one to you?" Because she already had one in mind.

"Of course you can," Piper said. "I was going to ask if you wanted to help me name him anyway."

"That's very generous of you, and something I never expected. Thank you so much," she told her, feeling touched and overwhelmed.

"Dean. If it is agreeable with you, I would love to see him named after his uncle." Which Meg had a hard time saying without tears springing to her eyes.

Piper could feel the tears springing to her eyes as well. She nodded. "I think that's perfect."

Then she reached over to hug Meg.

Meg hugged her. "Thank you for allowing me to be here. It means so much. You're going to be a great mother, Piper."

"It means so much to hear you say that," Piper said, smiling a little through the tears.

Stepping back, she smiled and wiped her cheeks. "You get some rest. If you need anything, I'm a phone call away." She looked back over at Matthew for a moment before she headed towards the door. "I'll be back sometime later in the week. Take care of yourself."

"You take care of yourself, too," Piper added as she watched her leave.
