The baby was still in NICU and likely would be for a few more weeks. Piper was going to be there everyday until he was allowed to go home.

Piper was currently baking pies. Thanksgiving was in two days, and it was the perfect excuse. She had a lot more to be thankful for this year, like her mother being back. She still didn't quite get how it was possible, but she didn't care. For the first time in a long time, she was truly happy.
