The Nat Turner Seminar juggernaut is over. It's not just that writing is my best section of the SATs. I also find field hockey exciting. I watched two games all the way through, and caught as much of the Fallston game as I could, working around forensics. The night of the homecoming dance, over a week ago now, there was a two-car collision directly in front of the school. As I was coming south on 165 from my friends house, an ambulance and fire truck and state trooper passed me. Yep, that's how the days go by.

English is, so far, not whooping me as badly as I thought it would. Of course, I haven't even started reading our seminar book, or thinking about how to approach the seminar, or dealt with presenting. My team is good, but it'll be hard to follow the three musketeers'  Hamlet one.

Like this conference I attended yesterday. Dare I call it that? There were probably no more than 50 of us, at the Philadelphia Baha'i center. It was supposed to be about "developing our potential," that being a direct quote from the postcard. For me, it was more about connecting the dots.

I never consistently wrote my name in the name space in school books. Last German class, I decided to change that. My new hobby: listening to Seals & Crofts Greatest Hits cassette while I do my calculus homework.
