The Nat Turner Seminar juggernaut is over. We finished on Friday, taking up our fourth whole period (though think the first one was shortened because of PSATs and all that) without Sammy. msot of it was tangent discussion though, because we had to bring up racism in talking about theme.

During lunch on Thursday, I registered to vote. It was pretty cool. The League of Women Voters had a booth between the cafeteria and guidance office, where military recruiters so often set up shop, and we all went and registered during CW II/III. A surprising number of my friends also went Indie. I loved Sarah's logic. "I don't know much about either party, and I don't want to join something I know so little about." Love it. Just love it. Sam said pretty much the same thing. There were others, too.

Sarah thinks she'll join a party eventually though, in order to vote in the primaries. That's the one thing. I'm afraid that the primaries won't yield any candidates I can really stand behind. But are any out there even now? It's hard to tell. When it comes down to it, anyone out there is going to do a better job than I could, and none of them will do it perfectly. So we'll just have to wait and see.
