What do I need to know to read your Thor stories? I didn't have a clue who Hawkeye and the other one were, so I skipped them, but then you explain that Hawkeye is played by Jeremy Renner, and now I want to know.

ILU. Your criteria for reading stories is, well, mine. :D

This manifesto tells you pretty much what you need to know about the main characters. Darcy was a character made up for the movie, to be the audience stand-in, so pretty much everything we learned about her came straight from the film. As stated, Hawkeye only got 2 minutes of film (during which he was referred to by his last name and not as Hawkeye) so most of the info comes from the comics. He's had a few different backgrounds in different comics continuities but all we know for sure in the movieverse is that at the time of Thor, he's one of the S.H.I.E.L.D. personnel deployed to New Mexico with Agent Coulson. The actress who plays Darcy, Kat Dennings? Used to date Matthew Gray Gubler. When I found that out I was all, "Aaaaaaaah! Fandoms COLLIDE!" And then was all, "The BAU comes to New Mexico..."

Oh dear, I feel slightly awkward commenting here b/c I usually lurk. Anyways! I've been reading your fic ever since you started the Potatoverse (and now you are writing for Thor, which is my new fandom shiny and also why I am back to er, lurk >.>), and I've been wondering for yeeeaaarrrrss, what happens next with Tim and Cass in The Story of Dinah and Bruce. I mean, obviously they end up together, but I was wondering exactly how that happened.

Oh, The Story of Dinah and Bruce! (I have not left a story unfinished since that one, I swear.) So I just had the most fun hours or so - I couldn't remember, and the file was on a flash drive from when I had moved over everything that was on disks. So I found a whole bunch of things I had forgotten about and then I had to read TSODAB to see where I'd stopped and everything. So, this is the scene I wrote for them getting together. I don't know if I would have used it or if I would have rewritten it or written something else. But it's easier to just post/read than describe, right? OMG, things I wrote 8 years ago. *hides face* *peeks out* And apparently I need two comments. Oops?

Tim walked into the kitchen, his tie down to the second button, his shirt sleeves rolled up, and his glasses in his pocket. His graduate class had run over tonight and he was tired and in need of something to drink. He paused when he saw Cassandra sitting at the kitchen table,
