After finding herself and Blaze swimsuits (which might have meant a trip out before the party), the two came over quickly, and found themselves getting there pretty early on. Well, that was okay. It meant more time to settle in before others came and made everything insane. Though Neph was more than a little self-conscious in this swimsuit...

But now, it was time for Neph to try coming out of her shell a little. She walked up to Lash, two small boxes in hand, and smiled, "Happy Birthday, Lash! Thanks for invitin' us, that was right nice of ya."

Blaze looked nervous and shy in the one piece purple swimsuit she had eventually chosen. But she was going to do the polite thing. "Happy Birthday," she greeted with Neph.

Riley was awestruck. He wasn't entirely sure how he made it to the stadium but he was having a look for potential training areas and suddenly SAND EVERYWHERE.

But suddenly he was walking around rather confusedly and he saw...

No, it couldn't be. Was that the real Professor Oak in... Riley wasn't even going to try and comprehend the shirt he was wearing. It was different to all the pictures he saw of him on TV, in his white coat looking austere as he lectured about Pokemon.

Riley was going to try to be brave, so as awkward as he looked and felt in his blazer and his hat, he approached the drawing professor and cautiously waved a hand at him to gain his attention.

"I don't mean to be rude and interrupt, but may you be the esteemed Professor Oak?"

Ness didn't bother arriving because he was already there. He had been originally planning on having a cook out for the baseball team that totally existed and anyone who wants to be on it can say they are and whoever, and then he had noticed that there was... a lot... of sand... everywhere. HUH. HOW DID THAT GET THERE.

Well he could work with this. Happy Birthday, Lash.

So there was a Ness over there with a 24 prepackaged, perfect burgers fresh from the trash grill flipping some meat products over some fire with a very nervous lunch bear hovering nearby. DARE YOU ASK HIM FOR ONE?

Oh, uh. One of those burgers just kind of crumbled a little on the rack uh. He wasn't exactly the most stellar of cooks. The rest of them still looked pretty good! And with this small window of fortune and success, Ness was able to keep a smile on his face. It only got wider when he noticed someone approaching, and he seemed particularly pleased when he saw just who exactly it was. Ness waved with his grilling utensil in hand. Robo-arm.

When did Seth sneak in? WHO KNOWS, but he looked incredibly comfortable people-watching, fanning himself and being a general creep. He was lounging on a chair somewhere in the middle of the arena under a parasol, boasting a very gaudy one-peice red and white striped swimsuit, complete with boater's hat, big sun-blocker sunglasses and a (neat) gob of suntan lotion down the bridge of his nose.

Can't be too careful about that sort of thing, you know.

Whoosh, there he went. He loved the ocean despite not having the opportunity to go to a beach often. The ocean felt wonderful. He alternated between deeper and shallow waters.

And well, if he's not there, he's also by the snacks.

And there was Kirby in the water, swimming around in his ball form... Which more or less looked like he was just floating around on the water.

Yes, he was pretty tiny! 20 centimeters! He turned to look at the direction he was called from, and gave a bright smile as he waved at the other.
