Who: Lip, Warren, anyone they might run into while out on the town. What: ladies' night out Dinner and a movie. Where: FDC When: Friday, 8 o' clock sharp. Warnings: Devious feline playing with his food.
And what kind of a friend would Seth be if he did not address Lip's poor liplessness listlessness? He of course, felt no true remorse for her social plights, nor all the lying he had been doing he had been doing to help perpetuate them. For tonight, this meant all his clever lying was getting him a free movie and dinner. And another peon to hopefully bend to his will. Or just another person to make miserable. Either way, Lip was a very tolerable sort (compared to some other ladies at this school) so he was certain this would be a splendid evening.
8 O'clock sharp, he was dressed in his usual creme-colored and Victorianesque attire and giving himself one last look-over in the mirror before attending to the door.
"Hello dear." Bye Bulba, have fun on vacationnnnn.
"Sure!" Lip responded enthusiastically, giving the blonde a little nod. She was kind of excited for the opportunity to learn more about Seth, she was sure she had never quite met anyone else like him.
As they left the school grounds, she turned to her companion.
"So, what are you in the mood for?" She produced that day's movie listings from her purse.
He would agree that he thought he was unlike anyone else.
Without any method of transportation they'd have to walk to the theater, but it was a do-able walk. Summer may have been creeping up, and thus the heat, but it was still very pleasant in the evenings.
"Hmmm." He peered over at the listing. "What about that X-men movie? Everyone's talking about it."
"Oh! I was actually kind of hoping you'd say that!" Dreams now realized, Lip stuffed the newspaper haphazardly into her purse.
"I'm kind of into superheroes... I mean, not in a weird way! I think. I just love to read comic books. My favorite superhero wears this crazy shifting mask and a trenchcoat, and he has a gravely voice like Daniel--"
He emitted a fake laugh at her throaty impression. "A shifting mask; like it could look like any face he wanted?" He had to admit such a thing would be useful, not that he wasn't already skilled in the art of deception. "And what does he fight?"
