It was true that Lip had been kind of lonely since Neris left, considering she was the last Fairy left. She had other friends, sure, but it seemed like everyone was kind of busy with all the summer vacation business. She was feeling kind of listless...
There was a pang of guilt knowing that she hadn't called up Lucas to go to the movie. But, she was still a little awkward about the whole "not noticing he was gay" thing. She just felt bad that she made him feel so awkward the whole time. And she had to admit... aside from just feeling embarrassed, she was kind of... sad? She might have sort of really liked Lucas a lot. But if that was really true, she had to let him be who he was meant to be, right? She shook the thought out of her head for the time being anyways, walking briskly through the halls in one of her many breezy yellow sundresses. It was really nice of Seth to break it to her gently. The thought that he could be lying never really crossed through her mind. The delicate art of deceit has still relatively new to her. She arrived at his dorm room, and rapped quickly on the door. She would be getting a new friend out of this! One who would probably be able to give her advice on how to approach Lucas without making herself look like even more of a fool.
