Who: Hawke and YOU. What: BOARD GAMES!? When: December 7th-10th, afternoons. Where: THE BIGGEST, MOST PUBLIC COMMON ROOM WITH ALL THE BOARD GAMES. Warnings: Candyland, probably.
Canas waltzed into the room. He'd just finished a spectacular book about a character named Siddhartha, who-- well, let us leave the details out, but Canas thought it was simply fascinating.
Hawke caught his eye, and the book worm made his way toward the CO, smiling all the while. "Oh, patience?" He asked, leaning over his shoulder. "I've read about that game..."
Ah, another not-necessarily-unwelcome guest. Hawke nodded at Canas' entrance, and did nothing to deter him from entering the room. They were, in a sense, cohorts, after all.
It took him a moment, however, to realize that Canas was talking about his card game. "Patience? I call it Solitaire."
Man. What was with all these people creeping on his card game? It wasn't like it was terribly interesting. So Hawke came to a reluctant solution. "Would you like to play something?"
Jake was naturally worried about Lash's disappearance. But he didn't particularly feel like talking about it either. When he found Hawke playing solitaire, he realized that at least he didn't have to feel lonely on his own, and Hawke surely wouldn't want to talk about it either. So he walked right in and sat down across from Hawke silently.
There was, behind Hawke, a curious Charizard who peeked over the cards and tried to figure out what was going on.
It seemed like such a quiet game. The silence was pretty nauseating as the cards were slowly flipped over and she still didn't quite understand. It looked like something Kojiro would play. Boring and monotonous.
Hey, who was this man anyway? Sasha hadn't seen much of him before.
The presence of a large black dragon-Pokemon-thing was not difficult to miss and Hawke stiffened, wondering what he did to attract so many students to his card game.
He continued in silence for a few moments before venturing to greet his guest. "Hello." He said cooly.
Predictably, Hawke couldn't understand what she was saying--he could only assume it was a greeting, and he went right back to dealing his cards.
Of course, he wondered what exactly she wanted, but it appeared that the Pokemon was content to watch him. He couldn't really fathom why, but as long as she wasn't setting anything on fire, he'd let her stay.

He looked at Hawke's game quietly, matching his knowledge from books to the real thing.

At least Jake wasn't Andy.
He shuffled his deck of cards and idly wondered why the other CO was just...sitting there. "Hello, Jake."

Then she went completely quiet again. She understood the need for a man to being silent and unmoving, even if she found it boring.
