On a hot summer night, SumaBura and the surrounding area seem perfectly serene. The only sounds are distant traffic, restless crickets, and maybe quiet chatter amongst students headed to their dorms.
Another sound, barely audible, joins the night music: a match bring struck, followed by something sizzling.

Mallow leaned out his dorm window, watching the display. It'd been a while since he'd seen fireworks... He almost forgot how beautiful they were!
The noises he could do without, but at least the dazzling array of lights made it all worthwhile.
The young Prince set his elbows on the windowsill and held his puffy head in his hands, smiling. "I hope everyone else is awake for this..."

Though, she wasn't too thrilled her gunship becoming a walk-in clinic, she was willing to make special exceptions. Exceptional exceptions. She had to get it ready for Jeff tomorrow/Friday, after all! [Oh, the irony.]
As the fireworks burst into the air loudly and lit up the hot summer's night sky, Samus peeked her head out of the top hatch of her ship. "...fireworks?"
Unluckily for Jeff, [and... luckily?] for Samus, the unexpected fireworks show piqued her curiosity. It was obviously at the school and she had heard nothing about it. She assumed it was Falcon's doing, or some stupid student prank, or perhaps something more sinister ( ... )

Nobody in sight. This was a good start.
The boy fumbled with a ninja-pocket somewhere on his person, extracting a certain janitor. He set Chibi-Robo on the ground in front of him, whispering, "you know where Ms. Aran's room is, right?"

And the little guy was just not the type to deny a request.
It nodded its head and showed its trademark "[ ! ]" sign before it pointed towards the nearest door. It was the first floor, after all. The little robot was not allowed in there however.
But... it did want to clean... A sort of programmed urge.
And it was going to make the student happy, after all, was it not?

Because a mute, non-threatening, miniature robot was going to make a great sentry. Next time he'd have to make one like the one from the Monotoli building.
Perhaps a little over dramatically, Jeff crept towards the door and inspected it for a special kind of lock or security camera. It was only natural an inventor would want to take precautions to protect their sanctuary... of course, it was also natural another would want to break in.
