Lash came in, with Canas in a flying bed.

Vacations were for the weak, or so Lash thought. Working on her robot aside, finding the culprit to the April Fools prankings had been a near obsession of hers, so tonight she felt that they'd either hit a dead end, or uncover a conspiracy that tied both schools together.

She was really hoping it was the second option.

Neotanks were not the dictionary's definition of small, compact and easy to hide machines, but she most certainly did not want to use to her transforming prototype, even for this. Jeff and Samus were better kept in the dark about it and...a lot of other things in her life. Had she known about Samus having a spaceship, she would have found the situation somewhat ironic. It didn't take too long for her to start up the machine's engine, remove it from the parking and drive it to the designated flag pole...just a few second from where she had first been. She stepped out of the backdoor dramatically as if she had taken days there to drive and greeted the suited-up teacher with a ( ... )

Jeff wasn't as gung-ho about finding the culprit behind the April Fool's pranks as Lash was. It had been almost a month, after all, and what good would come out of finding out who'd done it? What they should have been doing was working on secret cameras and increased security for next year. Still... He was a little curious, and not knowing would probably bother him for a little while to come.

Besides, he loved doing super-secret spy missions! It was dangerous and exciting! Even though Samus was far more experienced with this sort of thing and obviously knew how to take care of herself, Jeff wanted to make sure she didn't end up getting hurt anyway. Now he was the one more likely to get in trouble. OOPS.

So the only team member without PSYCHIC POWERS BAW a cool robot suit or robot tank showed up, armed only with a couple of guns. Ideally he wouldn't even need them, but with certain belligerent personalities accompanying him it would be inevitable that a fight would break out at one point.

Samus didn't flinch as the mammoth tank and it's owner made it's dramatic entrance from... not far away thattaway in the parking lot. Luckily Jeff arrived shortly afterward. He looked like he had come well-prepared too... hopefully they wouldn't need any of it.

Which meant no time should be wasted. "Come on, let's go." She said, climbing into the tank and holding an arm out for Jeff to pull him up.

"Take us to where these tubes start."

"You got it!" she replied, running back into the Neotank and jumping over the pilot's seat, putting the gear shift in reserve. They left without Jeff, oops.

"You two may want to strap in," she warned as the engine started to hum back into life again. "It's going to be a really bumpy ride. We'll be taking the mountain and tree route to the town, so that satellites don't detect us."

Jeff did so, making a note to stick some seatbelts in the Skyrunner one day. He was getting better at the landings, but you know. Just in case.

"How bumpy...?" He grimaced a bit. He'd be even more useless during this mission if he got sick before they even got there.
