He did take a stroll around campus for a while, but sat down on a bench under a tree. They were quite entertaining just to watch for a while. Not often had he been in the presence of those winged insects. It was too cold for them in Winters except for maybe magic butterflies. For the while, Tony felt rather... content.

On his way outside to investigate, he heard the word 'butterflies' popping up in conversations all over the halls. Buttrflies, huh? Magic ones? Something like that would excite the Prince. The sight that greeted him when he opened the door, however, was not the sparkling magical insects he was expecting, but a welcome sight nonetheless. He'd never seen so many in one place like this, not even along the tracks by Tazmily village! The memory of that made him blush a bit.
There was a familiar shade of green tucked away amongst all the orange, and Jeff more than gladly made his way through the crowds to Tony, taking care not to crush anybody underfoot. "Hey!"

"They are! I didn't even think there could be this many in one place..." He held his hand out, waiting patiently for one to land on his outstretched finger. "I wonder if any of them are actually people who live in the city?"

From the ground, Parakarry ran as he followed a trail of orange in the sky. He spread his wings as the wind picked up and for a few moments joined the monarchs in their flight before landing on the ground.
With a wide smile on his face, Parakarry then fell onto his back to catch his breath.

"So pretty," she whispered to no one in particular.

"Well, well," She greeted Lash. "What are we doing all the way up here?"

"AHHH! Ms Flurrie!" The butterfly in her hand flew off. "What are YOU doing up all the way here?"

Gold hadn't gotten his class schedule yet, and had been spending his time exploring the school grounds at each chance he got. So, after a brief conversation with Soul OVER THE INTERNET! TECHNOLOGY IS SO AMAZING!, Gold wandered out of the dorms that afternoon.
The sea of orange was a little frightening at first. Definitely not what he expected, that's for sure. It didn't take long before the boy was able to properly identify the fluttering mass as one of butterflies. It certainly was beautiful. It reminded him of something he'd once read about... He stepped nervously through the colorful crowd- making sure not to step on any of them- with his sights set on the overpopulated hill not far off from where he stood.

Checking if he had his pokeball on his belt, which he did, Lucas departed out of the safety of the dorms, he had caught sight of the amazingly beautiful display of monarchs, but he was determined to see them for himself. Smiling joyfully, he exited the complex, and almost immediately, he was caught off guard. He didn't even slightly imagine how many butterflies were actually out and about... It was so beautiful to him! They were absolutely everywhere...
Almost too caught up, he had just noticed Gold, being ever so careful as well to try not to harm the delicate creatures that moved dangerously near his feet, and called out his name when he thought he was close enough to be in hearing range of the boy. "Gold! Hey Gold!" As he continued his calling, he tried to move a bit forward, to try to join the fellow Pokemon trainer.

"Hi!" he replied, planting his hands firmly onto his hips and carefully turning around to face the other boy. "This is nice, huh? Is this normal?" he asked, taking a few steps closer to boy with the beret. "For the school, I mean."

"Not from what I've seen, so far. I think it's a yearly migration or something," he paused, scratching the back of his neck. "I've only been here for...about four months or so."
Nodding, Lucas stuck his hands into his pockets, taking an equal amount of steps toward Gold. "To be honest, I really don't know what to expect from the school anymore, the first week I was here everyone's ages got switched. I ended up getting older while some people either were like me and got older or were turned younger. It was pretty... hectic."
A quiet sigh escaped his mouth, and he grinned, "So, how're you liking the school so far? Is it giving a good impression?"

It was nice and peaceful for about half a minute until Boney barked, yanked the leash out of Flint's grasp and barreled through the carpets of butterflies, sending them flying everywhere.
