She squeezed his arm reassuringly. It was strange having him ask her what she wanted. That was her responsibility. She was supposed to ask him that. And he was taking that from her. Was that how queens were treated? Was that what she wanted; Ganondorf doing things for her?

"Something spicy. I don't think there's anything here spicier than me," Nabooru commented with a knowing grin. "There's not a soul who knows how to handle it either. Sounds good to me, though. Is that what you want?"

Lifting a hand, she toyed with the red goatee, "Why don't you tell me what you want?"

"Screw the date" and then Ganondorf backed up ten steps and they returned to his room.

Midna filmed.

Nyx bought a copy.

Midna would have sent Cane a copy but he's a meanie douche.

Well she was certainly in a playful mood today he could certainly get behind tha...oh goddesses was she touching her goatee, good thing he didn't turn a shade of red, that would have been terribly embarrassing. He coughed loudly instead.

"I owe you this date remember? You're supposed to tell me what you want. We can worry about what I like another day, hmmm?"

Smooth Ganondorf Dragmire. Really smooth.

Nabooru did something quite uncharacteristic for her. She literally paused and the moment she knew surprise was evident across her features, typical calm and collected her flushed. It wasn't completely noticeable, but he was so close to her that there was no way he'd manage to miss it. Unless, of course, he failed to pay attention, which was always a possibility.

A date? You're my leader. I wouldn't call it a date. So what would I call it then? Just a gathering, right?

He spoke so casually to her. No, they weren't really a formal people, those Gerudo, but there was still something very odd about the idea that he was going to cater to her. That was contradictory to how she'd grown up and their cultural traditions.

"If that's your command, Great Ganondorf, then I will abide," she finally managed to reply. Once more, she archived her personal feelings aside and instead, meant to convince the world that there was nothing there.

No dice. Ganondorf saw it and he was silent as they walked, unsure what to say.

In a way he wasn't surprised. Unlike Nabooru, he had spent the last four years at the school, and it has culminated to fighting his own mothers for the throne changing the game's canon forever. He was (mostly) professional in Gerudo Valley and whenever they'd get hired for a hit. The school was a place for him to relax and be...himself? Ganondorf at his most basic - a twenty year old prankster who delighted in seeing his students look uneasy, but who had very human weaknesses. Who, despite making so many jokes about them, deeply cared for his people. It wasn't always easy being the only man in Gerudo Valley, sometimes acting like a father, sometimes like a son, sometimes like a lover.

He knew. He knew he shouldn't be talking to her in such an easy manner. But dammit he was at school, he was used to speaking this way here, he owed her this (as much as he hated to admit it), and how the hell was he supposed to tell her that?Ganondorf didn't need the Light ( ... )

She couldn't decide if she felt uncomfortable having him talk to her in such a way. He was being comforting, which wasn't what she expected. How did she expect him, however? The academy had changed him. She'd seen him as fearsome when she was younger, and expected him one day to rule with an iron fist. The world would one day be beneath his grasp and she would watch from his side as he embraced the idea of conquest. That was the picture she had of her leader, her esteemed king ( ... )
