The fairy jumped off her seat and walked towards the door, wondering who could be visiting her(since she rarely gets any to begin with). It wasn't long before she realized who was standing in the front of the hallways, someone she didn't want to see anytime soon.
"...Hi Tails."

"...Hey." was all he could say in response. Insert random foot-shuffling as he figured out what he should start out with. How would he be able to explain his fear to her? To figure out if he was right? What if, even if he did face the problem, it would ruin their friendship?
"I just wanted to... ask you something." And now's the time that he has to contemplate just how he's going to ask her this. For him, this is a very difficult thing to think about. How is he going to explain it? How is he, and for another matter, she going to react?
No other way but to keep going.

The fairy stepped aside to give Tails some room to enter. Thank goodness Avianna wasn't around, cause she has a feeling that Tails' question will be personal and will result with answers she doesn't want the pikmin to hear.
She doesn't know when her roommate will return, so hopefully this won't take a chunk of her time.
"You can sit on the chair over there." She said, pointing to the wooden piece of furniture near the desk. Ribbon took her seat on her bed, sitting comfortably while waiting for the fox to ask the question that brought him here.

"...Things have been very weird this last week or two, and... you've been acting a little odd. I just... wanted to know if something was wrong... because it really seems like it."
That wasn't exactly how he intended it to first come out, but he did say what was on his mind, awaiting her answer. He wasn't going to beat around the bush or dodge the situation, because by this point he was almost 100% sure something was going wrong, and it probably involved him. And it probably also involved how hesitant Ribbon was for their 'relationship' to start a month ago.

Even though the fox isn't willing to beat around the bush, the fairy is; she's going to use every trick in the book to make it possible. She isn't ready to spill the beans and especially not now, but time never seemed to be on her side these days. She dodged a bullet when Snake chose not to send her to the guidance counselor a few months ago, but will she be lucky this time? She doesn't know, but is going to give it her best shot.
"What's West Side Island like?"
Way to change the subject, Ribbon.
