Tails was far from ignoring Sonic's advice. Worried that the rift between Ribbon and him would grow wider should he leave without a word, he was already at her door, about to knock.
But he had to stop and think for a second. What was he going to say when she answered? They hadn't spoken since she left him at the royal ball, and quite frankly, he was scared. Nothing like this had ever happened to the fox - he had never been in a relationship before, and everything he had experienced was new to him, even if it was the same as before they got together.
He took a deep breath, and knocked on the door. Time to get it over with...
