Characters: Louie, Rosalina What: Rosalina meets up with Louie in the dorm complex kitchen, and they make stuff with star bits! Where: The dorm complex's kitchen~ When: July 14th Rating: G, probably.
Rosalina was walking down the hallway towards the dorm kitchen with Lumina following behind. She was getting hungry and wanted to grab a bite to eat instead of buying food from the grocery store.
Ever since the picnic, she was able to eat various dishes more often, but only if it's loaded with Star Bits. Because of that, she decided to carry a purse filled with Luma chow everywhere she goes. It's quite convenient, especially for Lumina, who loves Star Bits to death. Of course it would if it'll save you the trouble of going to space just to get a simple snack.
Eventually the two made it to the kitchen and went inside, only to see Louie complementing about something. She figured it has something do to with cooking, since they are in a kitchen. Not wanting to startle the teacher with her voice, Rosalina place a hand on his shoulder to grab his attention.
Louie did, however, bounce a little at the hand on his shoulder and flipped around to see who it belonged to. His tension lessened considerably at the sight of Rosalina and Lumina, however, for he knew them a little at least. It wasn't exactly as hard to talk to people who he knew at least a bit, so that was a good thing.
"H-Hello," He peeped out, unable to hold a tiny stutter. That did startle him a little.
He looked over at Lumina, then Rosalina, then Lumina again. He then turned his head around and looked over at the remainder of the two plates of dessert on the counter. "I... was cooking. I'm trying to top these." He needed some kind of topping, but hrrgh... what?!
Touching his shoulder didn't seem like a good idea, since Louie ended up jumping from her tough. Perhaps it was best to call out his name instead. She made a mental note to do so in case the two ever cross paths again.
"It's good to see you again, Louie." Rosalina replied calmly as Lumina headed over to the counter to take a look at his creations. The Luma simply squeaked in disgust at the desserts; how could anyone in their right mind eat that stuff? It isn't Star Bits!
The Luma will never know.
Rosalina noticed the desserts as well. The presentation looks very nice and probably tastes good as well. Of course it needed Star Bits if she plans on tasting it. Speaking of Star Bits, didn't Louie said that he needed some topping? Well, she has a good idea on what to use.
"Would you like to use Star Bits?" She asked as she showed Louie the purse being carried. "I carry them with me all the time, so I can eat otherworldly food in my own leisure."
Star Bits?! Oh! Louie remembered those! He tried those out at the picnic Rosalina was holding. The one he found his way to whilst searching for juicy, buggy morsels? Yeah, that one. They did taste very good, as well, and he didn't wind up getting any to experiment with, so why not?
"I... would like that," He nodded and pointed down to the bite or two of pineapple cake and the bit of cheesecake left. "Can you sprinkle some... on those?"
Well, now that felt like an accomplishment! She liked it! For someone who didn't seem very used to otherworldly foods, she sure did seem to brighten up at the taste of that. Perhaps it was because it had Star Bits on it now, yes, but still, it was a step forward. That was always a good sign. He did love when people complimented the things he put together, even the simplest of dishes.
"Thank you," Louie peeped out with a little smile to return for her. Now he just had one more dessert to make
( ... )
Rosalina nodded as she accepted the bowl Louie gave her. She slowly took another scoop of ice cream while Lumina picked the Star Bits from the dessert to eat it herself.
Mmmmm, Star Bits ice cream.
rosalina's attention was now focused on Louie's next creation. What could it be, she wondered. It seems like some sort of drink, though nothing like juice or water. Regardless on what it is, it's safe for her to drink due to Star Bits being added to the mix.
When Louie finished creating this unknown drink and poured it into two glasses, Rosalina began to speak via a question.
Louie sipped down some more of his own beverage and then answered her question simply: "A milkshake. It is... an icy milk beverage." One of his favorites, too! With those star bits added in, it sure did add a unique flavor in milkshakes that he had never even dreamed of before.
Now he just had to see if Rosalina would approve of this.
With that said, Rosalina placed the bowl on the counter and reached for the drink, taking a sip once it was close to her mouth. A sound in the form of 'mmmmmmm' was heard as she continued to drink the milkshake. It's quite delicious, even more than the ice cream dessert. She would have to try some of this again in the future.
"This drink is quite exquisite." She replied with a look of satisfaction on her face. "You are a very talented cook, Louie."
Lumina doesn't think so. In fact, she's sitting on the counter, bored to death. The baby Star ended up yawning; she might as well take a nap for the time being until her mother is ready to leave.
