Characters: Louie, Rosalina What: Rosalina meets up with Louie in the dorm complex kitchen, and they make stuff with star bits! Where: The dorm complex's kitchen~ When: July 14th Rating: G, probably.
Well, now that felt like an accomplishment! She liked it! For someone who didn't seem very used to otherworldly foods, she sure did seem to brighten up at the taste of that. Perhaps it was because it had Star Bits on it now, yes, but still, it was a step forward. That was always a good sign. He did love when people complimented the things he put together, even the simplest of dishes.
"Thank you," Louie peeped out with a little smile to return for her. Now he just had one more dessert to make
( ... )
Rosalina nodded as she accepted the bowl Louie gave her. She slowly took another scoop of ice cream while Lumina picked the Star Bits from the dessert to eat it herself.
Mmmmm, Star Bits ice cream.
rosalina's attention was now focused on Louie's next creation. What could it be, she wondered. It seems like some sort of drink, though nothing like juice or water. Regardless on what it is, it's safe for her to drink due to Star Bits being added to the mix.
When Louie finished creating this unknown drink and poured it into two glasses, Rosalina began to speak via a question.
Louie sipped down some more of his own beverage and then answered her question simply: "A milkshake. It is... an icy milk beverage." One of his favorites, too! With those star bits added in, it sure did add a unique flavor in milkshakes that he had never even dreamed of before.
Now he just had to see if Rosalina would approve of this.
With that said, Rosalina placed the bowl on the counter and reached for the drink, taking a sip once it was close to her mouth. A sound in the form of 'mmmmmmm' was heard as she continued to drink the milkshake. It's quite delicious, even more than the ice cream dessert. She would have to try some of this again in the future.
"This drink is quite exquisite." She replied with a look of satisfaction on her face. "You are a very talented cook, Louie."
Lumina doesn't think so. In fact, she's sitting on the counter, bored to death. The baby Star ended up yawning; she might as well take a nap for the time being until her mother is ready to leave.
Louie's expression perked up a little at the compliment. Boy, he felt so much accomplishment and even felt a little proud of himself every time someone appreciated his cooking. It made him so happy that he had the talent to be working in the food business now, at least as a teacher of the subject.
"Thank you," He nodded, not saying anything further before he took another sip. He then glanced over at Lumina and noticed her yawning and looking awfully sleepy and dreary. That didn't look too good. It was probably just a little tired, but... huh.
"Um," He mouthed softly, glancing over at Lumina with concern.
Lumina paid Louie no mind, since the boredom is taking her on a journey to lala land, otherwise known as sleep. The Luma simply turned her back on the poor cooking teacher as she closed her eyes, ready to catch some z's.
Rosalina frowned. She would have to teach her child a thing or two about manners.
"My apologies, Louie." She said to Louie as she placed a hand on his shoulder. "Lumina has a short attention span. She tends to sleep when something doesn't catch her interests."
Hopefully he won't get too offended with Lumina's current behavior.
Louie nodded and looked over at sleepy little Lumina. Awww, silly thing. He could understand, though, if the young thing was bored. "Oh, it's... it's alright."
He finished up his milkshake and since his mun doesn't know where else this can go went over to wash the dishes. He'd probably go to his dorm room afterward and write down his notes over the Star Bits.
He glanced over at Rosalina's cup to see if she was finished yet.
Rosalina had just finished drinking the rest of the milkshake, sighing contently. Thanks to Louie, she doesn't have to worry about filling her stomach for the day. What a kind, thoughtful person he is.
She placed the empty glass on the counter and picked up the sleeping Luma right after. It's time for her to go back to the Observatory; the she promised the rest of her family that she will read them a story or two before they head to bed.
"Thank you for the deserts, Louie." She said as she headed towards the exit. "I will keep you in my thoughts."
Louie nodded with a smile and wiped down the glasses to put back up in their respective places. He waved a little as she left, glad that he could make her day with some delicious treats.
After he set the cups back in the cabinets, he headed for his dorm, ready to write down some notes on these scrumptious Star Bits.
