When EVA heard Daroach call out at her, she was hesitant to reply. She paused mid-step, and after mulling it over for a moment or two, walked back in his direction. "I'm EVA," was the first thing she said, smiling bitterly. "Is there something I can I help you with?" she asked, seemingly ignoring what he had said.

You would think by now, EVA would be used to talking to strangely-sized animals. But truthfully, it still got a little weird from time to time.

"Daroach." he said in reply after EVA introduced herself. During that time, his eyes were staring up and down her body. She's much pleasing to the eye up close. Then again, all human women seem to be.

Eventually, he put his focus on her face and continued on. "I don't need any help. Just thought you take a break and maybe chat a little."

EVA sucked in her cheek while the rat looked her up and down. This wasn't the first time EVA had been checked out- not by a long shot. Thankfully, though, she was able to just roll her eyes and ignore it.

"Chat?" she repeated, turning her head and eyeing Daroach somewhat suspiciously. "I don't see why not." She grabbed a chair near the one Daroach was in and sat down.

"I'm assuming you're on faculty, right?"

When: May 25th
Time: 11am

Rosalina walked into the library with Lumina in tow. She's planning on checking out a few books to read to her children on the Comet Observatory. Although said place have a library of its own, all the books had been read more than once. It possible when you be traveling in space over 100 years.

While heading to the nearest bookshelf, she noticed EVA nearby. She must be the librian, right? Wanting to know more about the students and falcuty of Sumbbura, Rosalina and Lumina headed towards EVA and gave her a smile.

"Are you the libraian?" She asked while the Luma few over to EVA's side, giving her a glance with a squeal on the side.

"Hmm?" EVA asked, turning to face Rosalina. Without even thinking about it, she replied; "Yeah, that's right." After giving Rosalina a once-over, it registered who she was.

Mother's Day had been slightly embarrassing for EVA. She embarrassed herself by breaking down and crying, commenting on Rosalina's entry, and just her feelings on the day in general. In a perfect world, Rosalina would have forgotten about the comment she had made. Maybe she had, but EVA wasn't counting on it.

She retained her composure, and gave Rosalina a small smile. "Are you looking for something?"

Rosalina nodded. "Yes, I'm looking for a few books to read for my children... perhaps one for myself, a romance novel or two."

Rosalina can't help but feel warm all over when reading books relatiing to love. Mario and Princess Peach's relationship had made her more interested in the subject, that and wanting to experience it herself. She doesn't put much focuse into it; she doubts she'll find someone who can live as long as she or is willing to spend most of his life in space on the Comet Observatory. At least the Lumas are replacing the love she wants, if only temporary. If anything, it's better than nothing at all.

"Romance novels..." EVA repeated, thinking for a second. Romance novels reminded EVA of Rawk Hawk... The librarian shook her head and blinked once or twice. "We've got quite the collection on the second floor. I can show you the way, if you'd like," she offered, smiling warmly.

((May 20th, around closing time~~~))

How long had Rawk Hawk been sitting by the fireplace on the second floor? It was nearly summer, wasn't he a little hot? Oh well, it didn't matter as long as he looked classy, and there wasn't anything classier than Rawk Hawk in a lounge. He had in his hands a copy of one of his many autobiographies, this latest one detailing his first year at the school. A pair of fake reading glasses perched on his nose, the lenses glinting in the firelight.

Oh, Rawk Hawk. Just what EVA needed after a long day of work. Uh... kinda.

"So... How's the new book?" she purred, wheeling around the banister and walking towards Rawk. She claimed one of the nearby armchairs and curled up in it.

"You haven't read it yet? I figured you'd be the first, since I found it here. It's pretty good. You make an appearance on page..." he paused, flipping through the book until he found the right page. "174. Don't worry, I changed your name. Har!" Who would ever suspect EVVA?

"I'm only a few pages in," she fibbed, shifting slightly in her chair. "How sweet of you- hope the name-change wasn't too big of a hassle. What's it say?"

Nell didn't know how long she had been looking for that goddamn desk. It must have been at least fifteen minutes. Twenty. She still felt terrible after that whole "er yeah I'm getting married ha sorry forgot to tell you" thing, though, especially since EVA was one of the few people who she'd actually managed to kinda-sorta befriend, so it was worth it.

Plus, she seemed like a nice enough person. It was really silly, but Nell felt like they had some sort of love connection. Whatever it was, she was determined to find it. Or at least make some good conversation. They would be friends, dammit.

For now, though, she came bearing gifts! One, actually. A book, for EVA's birthday. She was a librarian, right? So she liked books, obviously. Or if she didn't, maybe she'd find this one interesting. It sounds cocky, but she'd went and bought a copy of her second-favorite book (her favorite was a generic romance novel, no way she was going to admit that to anybody), a biography on some politician she admired. (Yeah, EVA would appreciate that. ( ... )

Coincidentally, EVA considered Nell to be one of her 'friends'. Then again, by now- and at Smash Academy- EVA's definition of 'friend' was a bit looser than it had been in the past. Rather than someone she was about to trust with all her secrets, it was more or less anyone she got along with and could talk with. Couldn't hurt to have a few of those, right?

"Nell," EVA responded calmly, looking up from her computer monitor. "What's up?" she asked. She stood up, pushed her chair in and walked around the desk to stand closer to Nell.

"Well, it was your birthday, so I decided to get something for you. You said you didn't like surprises, so I left it unwrapped. Late, I know, but..." Nell smiled and held the gift in front of her with both hands. "Hope you like it. It's my favorite."

EVA grinned. The fact that Nell had even gotten her a present was enough to put a smile on her face, but that the other woman had thought to leave it unwrapped. "Oh, Nell." She took the book from Nell and flipped open the cover. "Thanks. I really wasn't expecting this."

She then leaned over and kissed Nell on the cheek.

When: May 19th
Time: 5:00 pm

Goroh came in, backflipped in and broke EVA's desk in two.

There was a small tap on EVA's desk as Goroh came by to say his hello.

He enjoyed talking with her, if just because her company was much more welcome than the other female teachers in school. Then again, Goroh had set himself into a corner, what with appearing completely out of his mind every Friday afternoon. They all probably thought he was crazy (and with good reason too.)

Still, he had a small grin as he looked at her and said softly,

"So...not too angry with what happened during my class last Friday, right?"

EVA looked up with a small smile. "Hi," she greeted him, pushing the papers in front of her aside. She smirked a little before answering his question- "Angry? Not angry. I think I already told you," she paused to lean over on her desk a little, "It was a little more exciting than I would have wanted on my birthday. But it's really alright."

She withdrew from the desk and tucked her legs in, onto the chair. "So, what's up?" she asked.

"A fool only asks once." he explained, chuckling a little, "I'm just making sure." He sat down on a nearby stool.

"I do try make those classes exciting, but the students seem to enjoy it so much. for all the crazy, no one has really filed a complaint apart from the nearby houses near the school." Never mind the fact that it was potentially always dangerous.

He crossed his arms when she asked her question. "I hate to say that I'm just doing school work, but that's pretty much what I've been doing lately. I'm planning another one of those special classes like last year." A small sigh. "I'm just hoping there's no giant monsters from space that suddenly appear this time."

"Touché," the librarian replied.

EVA moved again, shifting her legs from one side of the chair to the other. She swiveled it so she was facing Goroh and propped her elbow up on the desk, resting her cheek in the palm of her hand. "Space monsters?" she asked, frowning. "I must have missed that one."
