What?: Library "office log".
When?: Anytime between May 18th and May 25th.
Where?: Primarily the library. But they could go places too. If you want.[[A quick OOC note: I was supposed to start 2 logs tonight that start in the library. I thought, why not kill 2 birds with 1 stone and do an office log? So, Kizzy and Tara, this is for you

When EVA heard Daroach call out at her, she was hesitant to reply. She paused mid-step, and after mulling it over for a moment or two, walked back in his direction. "I'm EVA," was the first thing she said, smiling bitterly. "Is there something I can I help you with?" she asked, seemingly ignoring what he had said.

You would think by now, EVA would be used to talking to strangely-sized animals. But truthfully, it still got a little weird from time to time.

"Daroach." he said in reply after EVA introduced herself. During that time, his eyes were staring up and down her body. She's much pleasing to the eye up close. Then again, all human women seem to be.

Eventually, he put his focus on her face and continued on. "I don't need any help. Just thought you take a break and maybe chat a little."

EVA sucked in her cheek while the rat looked her up and down. This wasn't the first time EVA had been checked out- not by a long shot. Thankfully, though, she was able to just roll her eyes and ignore it.

"Chat?" she repeated, turning her head and eyeing Daroach somewhat suspiciously. "I don't see why not." She grabbed a chair near the one Daroach was in and sat down.

"I'm assuming you're on faculty, right?"

"You can say that." Although he took the job as a teacher's assistant, he haven't done much of anything since the school year started weeks ago. "Apparently my position's not in high demand, though that may change."

Since he can no longer occupy his time on things such as drinking and stealing, he's forced to put his attention elsewhere. He's considering going for a better position, being an actual teacher instead of a tag-along. He may end up dealing with a few students who will try his patience, but he'll put them in their place... by force if necessary.

Daroach made himself more comfortable on the chair, crossing his legs while placing his hands behind his head. He paused for a few moments before facing EVA. "You must like reading and shit, working in a library of all places. Least you're doing something that will actually help these kids... then again, they're fucking insane and I sure as hell don't know how they made it this far."

So much for toning his language.

EVA clicked her tongue, sneering at Daroach. "You've got quite the mouth on you, don't you?" she snapped. She repositioned herself, backing up just a bit. "Yes, I do like reading and shit."

She narrowed her eyes slightly before continuing. "The kids here aren't that bad, you know. Some of them are a little... off, but..." she trailed off, leaving that comment open.

"I'm working on it. It ain't easy..." He admitted. When you speak that way for most of your life, you can't expect one to make a 180 without slipping here and there, right?

"...." Daroach said nothing, but decided to think things over. So far, he's met a female with supposed 'deathrays' and an urge to explode things, a red enchidna who was on stalker mode for a good while, a girl who decides to use her teeth as a weapon... If that doesn't scream 'brain damage', then he don't know what is.

"...They need to get their act together if they expect to make it in life and stop fuc.... playing around when they should be attending class. Then again, I question a few of them."
