Sable was dying to read a nice, light romantic book. A nice feel good, easy to digest book would be perfect for her! Thus, she was browsing through the many aisles, her eyes scanning up and down the plethora of books. Occasionally, she would take out a book and read the summary on the inside cover, only to put it back and continue on. Finally, her eyes were set on a novel that looked perfect! The only problem? It was on the tallest shelf. Of course. She sighed half-heartedly and searched for a stool or a ladder.

Luckily for Sable, EVA just happened to be nearby, re-organizing a bookshelf just a few feet away. She glanced over when Sable sighed. "Do you need help with something?" she asked, walking over to the teacher. She smiled warmly and crossed her arms.

Sable looked up at EVA and smiled back. "Oh, yes! I'm having trouble with getting a book...it's on the top shelf." She stifled a giggle and pointed up to the book. "It's the one with the pink cover and the huge white letters...do you think you can get it down for me? I'm too short to get it down, so..."

"Of course," EVA said, nodding, "Juuuust a second." Around the corner, EVA found one of the bajillion step-stools in the library. The shelf Sable had pointed out wasn't that high up, for EVA. She returned shortly with the stool. "The pink one, right?"

The door closed quietly as Bob made her way into the library. The sounds of twenty or so arm bracelets clanked against each other as she walked towards the woman's desk, smiling.

"Like, totally hello Ms.Librarian!" she said warmly, taking out an apple from her backpack, polishing it on her dress before pushing it on EVA's counter.

EVA looked up with a somewhat sarcastic smile. "Like, totally hello to you too," she replied, eyeing the second apple placed on her desk. "Are you looking for something in particular today?"

If Bob knew the smile was sarcastic, she certainly didn't show it.

"I just wanted to totally give you an apple! I picked it up today, fresh from the orchard."

An orchard halfway around the other side of the world, considering it was still spring. But like she was going to say that. Instead, she held a finger to her lip and thought about EVA's question. Did she want to take out a book? Why not.

"Do you have suggestions?"

"Well," EVA started, "That all depends on what kind of book you like to read. I could recommend you a thousand books and you might only like one of them. So let's start with the basics; fiction or non-fiction?"

With that, EVA stood up and took a few steps to the side, ready to help the student find a book. "Oh, and thanks for the apple," she said. This time her smile was a little more genuine.

Snake had done something kind of stupid. He had told Samus that the one thing he wanted to do, that he never got to do on off days, is go bungee jumping. Not long after telling her this, he realized he knew nothing about it. Instead of simply looking it up online, he had decided to go check out the library, noting he had never been there for long. He was looking for another book to read anyways.
Snake wandered in, looking at the stack of books set up on a shelf near the entrance.

When Snake walked into the library, EVA just so happened to have glanced up from tidying up. It was just before closing time, and she was only minutes from leaving and locking up. As soon as Snake showed up, though, EVA decided that it could wait just a little longer.

She approached Snake slowly. "Hey," she said, waving. "Are you looking for something?"

Snake looked up and the blonde woman, and grinned.
"Hey, Ms. EVA. I am sort of looking for something, but I'm almost afraid to say it, it's a little absurd. Do you have anything at all on bungee jumping?"
He let out a short chuckle, scratching the back of his head.
"Other than that, I'm looking for anything good, I haven't read a book for pleasure in quite a while."

EVA had seen Snake in the halls before and even during the war- seeing him at the library wasn't particularly surprising- but she had never really gotten a good look at him her entire stay at the school. For a few slightly awkward moments after Snake was finished talking, EVA zoned out and stared at him.

"Oh, uh..." He looked so much like his father. "Bungee jumping?" The eyepatch was just too weird. "I'm sure we do." They even sounded alike. "I've never seen any, but I'm pretty sure it was just because I've never looked for them before." The way he said her name. "It'll probably be around sports books." EVA inhaled sharply and smiled.

Her heart was beating irregularly fast. She was disappointed in herself.

Time: It. Happens. At a time. A time that happened. 8|;;

There was another fixture of the library. From 8 in the morning to 5 in the evening, subtracting a few hours each day between the morning and afternoon, there was a pile of books. The books and location tended to change each day, but their were traits that held true day in and day out. It tended to appear near armchairs, generally stood around 4 feet tall... and always hid a pale, peculiar little girl behind them.

Today was certainly not an exception.

EVA had gotten used to this addition fairly quickly. It was comforting after a while; to know that she was almost never alone in the huge library. It even became one of her favorite parts of the library once she met the small girl behind the books. EVA never said anything to her, not wanting to disturb her peaceful reading.

Well, except maybe once.

EVA found an armchair near Vianca's and set down, fidgeting for a few moments before she finally got comfortable.

"What are you reading?"

Vianca glanced up from the pages, looking over at EVA as the older woman took a seat. She was not particularly bothered by the intrusion. In fact, she found herself feeling happy. It must have been because EVA was a very helpful individual. And because she was always around the library too. Of course that was because it was her job but... Yes. Yes those must haven been the reasons. Of course.

"The Lord of the Rings," she answered, lightly tracing a finger over the page number so she wouldn't forget. Just in case. "The first one."

Once EVA found a comfortable spot, she was incredibly still in her chair. She watched the small girl with warm, motherly eyes unlike the usual cold, intimidating look she usually gave everyone else. ...Though she wasn't particularly aware that she was doing it.

She nodded in response, glancing down at the book. "You know, I'm not really a big fan of those types of books, but I really enjoyed that series." She paused, brushing a stray hair from her face before continuing, "How are you liking it so far?"

When: May 20th
Time: Sometime in the afternoon

Kirby came hopping into the library, curiously looking from left to right as he wandered around the room. The last time he was here was when Ganondorf had given Yoshi and him a really cool reading time and some ghosts.

"Poyooo, the library is so huge poyo..." He said in a small voice with a frown.

Conveniently Thankfully the ghost event was something EVA remembered clearly, making it easy for EVA to remember everyone involved. That, and it was hard to forget a tiny, talking, pink ball with a face.

Unfortunately, EVA had her back-turned and was hidden in an aisle (not to far from the entrance, however), and hadn't seen or heard Kirby come in.

Kirby wandered some more, looking up at the shelves full of books. He wasn't paying attention to where he was going, and ended up running into the other's legs.

"Poyo!"

He pulled away to see a familiar face. It was that lady from the ghost event!

"Poyoyo! Hi poyo!" He greeted cheerfully with a wave.
