Vianca stood behind the girl at the shore of the lake, watching her investigations. She had never seen someone try to walk across the lake before. Then again, she had never actually seen a lake in person before she had come there, let alone a frozen one.
"..."
The pikloli huddled a little more in her winter clothes that leader had given her, thank you leader and crept a tiny step closer to the frozen surface.
She supposed she should probably make sure this girl was alright.
She waited another minute before she said anything though, since the girl seemed like she was alright enough. "... Are you okay?"
Vianca watched the girl slip and slide a bit more. She was not entirely sure that this was the definition of "okay" or not, but she would take this girl's word for it. (Vianca was also conveniently ignoring the fact that some of the girl's slips were her fault, whoops.)
"..."
She nodded her head slightly. "Vianca." She tilted her head slightly, matching Ziggie's action. "... And you?"
As they had promised each other, Goose and Surge just couldn't resist heading out over to the lake and trying out ice skating. Personally, this was Goose's first experience with this sort of thing (hey, Holiday Island never GOT snow, so), so he... had no clue what to expect. But...
... it was all worth a shot! He came out, dragging his boyfriend by the wrist with his free hand clutching onto his and Surge's ice skates.
"Well, there it is," He grinned, glancing about the ice sheet in front of them. "My first time ice skatin'. You've done this before, right? I forgot if ya' did, but... think ya' can show me the ropes?"
Surge allowed himself to be dragged by the younger man. Finally they made it to the lake. "Wow," he lightly tapped the ice, "This is perfect. Who knew the lake would make such a great ice skating rink?"
"Yeah, yeah," he waved it off like it was no big deal. "I'll teach ya, don't worry." Taking his skates from Goose, he laced them up and stepped onto the ice. Finding his balance, he took a small lap or two around the ice. It seemed safe enough.
"Alright, the first step is to get balanced on your skates. When you're ready, step onto the ice. I'll hold you up until you can balance on your own," he waited by the edge of the lake.
Goose scoffed immediately at the whole 'balance on his own' part. "I'm pr'tty sure I can do it on my own at first," The cocky pilot laced up his own skates and straightened up a little to begin to balance himself... and then he fell right on his ass.
... shit.
"Uhhh, gimme a minute, I'm 'unna get it right this time..." He wobbled up onto his knees and then got his skates on the ground... and as he tried to stand, he didn't even make it before he fell back again.
"Agh! FUCK. Damn skates..." He grumbled before looking up at his boyfriend with an awkward frown. "Uh. Help me get up."
Hoji had come out to explore the icy areas around her, curious as to what kind of Pokemon may be loafing around the area. Maybe she'd find some Swinub? Or a Dewgong or two? Maybe even a Smoochum?!
Squealing, she charged out into the ice, her feet immediately meeting the ice... and making her skid all over the lake.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
... finally, she fell right on her poor Bulbmin bottom. "... THAT HURT! Bad ice!"
Bulba winced slightly when Hojita connected with the ice. Not that you could tell, what with all of the layers he had put on before adventuring outside. (She had burst into his room earlier with every intention of dragging him outside to look for wintery pokemon, and he had made her wait however long it had taken him to bundle up. What an awesome boyfriend.)
He tentatively stepped out on to the ice and sort of waddled over to her to try and help her up. Somewhere behind the scarf Roselia had given him came a muffled, "Are you okay ba?"
And then came the shout from the lake's edge, and before Bulba knew it there was a great purple presence next to them and.. well. The surprise made him teeter over on to the ice too. "..Ba!"
Hoji could only watch as her 'boyfriend' had stepped out onto the ice carefully, hearing out Bulba's somewhat distorted voicing of concern. She looked up at him and prepared to reply to him, until... she was cut off by a loud cry. She could only watch helplessly as Ulty had slid onto the ice and... wound up right next to her on his poor butt. "Uhm! Hi Ulty! Are you--..."
... and then she trailed off as Bulba had fallen right with them both. Well, that was... definitely not a success.
"Um! Um! It'll be okay! Hold on, I'll help you!" But as she tried to wobble up onto her feet, she began to turn around to face them and... fell yet again. "OW! I don't like ice at all!"
Bobbery, admittedly, hadn't ice skated in years, and he DEFINITELY wouldn't be able to do it in human form. In all honestly, he's still not entirely used to human limbs and legs and feet, so... that was simply out of the question. Thus, he was left with just his tiny bob-omb sized ice skates, and his ~WILLPOWER~. And giant unfitting hat.
... okay, yeah, he was gonna take that off for the actual ice-skating.
After removing it and lingering back for a little bit, he 'hrmphed' and decided to brave up the ice. He stood up...
And then fell back right there, sliding onto and around the ice like a bowling ball down a bowling alley.
It didn't often get cold enough in Tazmily for the water to freeze thick enough to skate on. Which is why Lighter couldn't help but be overcome by a boyish excitement when he realized that the case was entirely different in the city.
...Of course, since he didn't get to skate often, he wasn't well-practiced at all. Two steps onto the ice and the man fell flat on his ass. So much for his pride.

By laughing at Goose.
"Ha ha ha! You sure you want my help? You were doing so well on your own! Ha ha!"
But as he offered his hand, he pulled up the younger man. "Use me as a crutch, alright? It'll make things easier for you."
