Sam paces her room.

How could he do this? Leading her on and then this?

She sits heavily on her bed.

Sam wakes up slowly and in that sort of 'groggy, mostly asleep' sort of way notes that she is suprisingly well rested. BUt she frowns as she also notes that this does not feel like her bed. She opens her eyes slowly and blinks.

She's sitting at the table, papers scattered everywhere, concentrating.

She'll be startled if anyone interrupts her.

Sam tromps up the stairs towards room seven. Her face is dirty, her clothes are torn, and it's obvious that she hasn't taken a shower in weeks.

"The missing piece. Gotta get the missing piece," she mutters under her breath. "Work to finish. So much work to finish. Hurry."

Face determined, she opens the door to room seven.
