According to D-addicts, the Tsuki no Koibito finale brought in 16.2% ratings. Pretty disappointing. What did everyone think of the last episode and the series overall (let's make this a spoiler post)? What do you think of the ratings?

As for the end of the story, I totally agree and support Rensuke's decision. There are probably a lot of fans out there who disagree about his decision, but I've been waiting for him to make the right choice since ep 1. The end of the story brings me good memories of Long Vacation. Rensuke and Maemi is totally like Seina and Minami. I'm glad Rensuke finally realized his soul mate is actually Maemi, the girl who has been with him since highschool. When Rensuke is with Maemi, he can be himself. They are extremely comfortable with each other. When Rensuke is with Shumei, he has to adapt and change his way of living, which he can't afford to do so. As for Yuzuki, she's more like Rensuke's little sister.

and if i am honest i am a little disappointed, that the ratings were so low.
but i guess that some viewers thought, that this dorama was boring. (which i disagree)
and i am the same opinion as otomodachi0409.
he made the right decision in the end. but it was a little unexpected to me.
but it was the right choice. because maemi was always with him and supported him, when he needs someone really badly. and i liked it, that yuzu accepted to be his little sister! *smile*
all in all. the end was perfect it could has last longer. 8 eps are waaayy to short!

About the story, I'm glad he end up with Maemi. After first episode I really liked Xiu Mei, cause she seemed tough. But then she started to act as a spoiled kid and I started to hate her...
On contrary I like the way Yuzu changed... The whole little sister thing was amazing...
And I believe that if this drama were a bit longer, it could be more complex... Like the decision with Maemi was right and understandable, but it was too sudden...
Anyway I love this drama and it's definitely pretty high on my must-see drama list :)

About Tsuki no Koibito, I confess I didn't enjoy the first 6 episodes. Xu Mei was very irritating and Maemi just couldn't leave Ren's shadow. But the endind was perfect for me. Kimura and Shinohara acting was amazing and the best treat in the whole series. Matsuda Shota and Kitagawa Keiko needs more experience but I feel that both of them have a lot of potential, especially Kitagawa. Lin Chi Ling... humm... I prefer her as a model... xD
