According to D-addicts, the Tsuki no Koibito finale brought in 16.2% ratings. Pretty disappointing. What did everyone think of the last episode and the series overall (let's make this a spoiler post)? What do you think of the ratings?

I actually found the drama very good. The thing is I thought the directors and writers knew exactly what they wanted but somehow in the middle ep 4-5, maybe its the script or the pacing of the story since its only 8 episodes long, it got alittle side tracked and the viewers response kind of made the drama alittle weird to watch. Cause it wasn't making sense. I am not sure how much of it was intended by the directors because i think the characters was expected to be that way. But it brought out an undesired rating drop ( ... )

I loved this drama, and i'm so surprised at the low ratings.

I love Maemi and Rensuke together and the ending was adorable, but at the same time i felt like the writers just rushed through the end... Maybe if it had a bit more episodes to develop a bit more romance between Rensuke and Maemi i would be a bit more happier.
On a side note i was constantly annoyed by Xiu Mei, probably because of my bias for Maemi. I even started picking little things about that character that i didn't like, well i'm glad in the end that Rensuke and Maemi ended up with each other. Cute ending, knowing that they got married :)

why everyone love rensuke and maemi??, i think rensuke suppose to be with xiu mei, that ;s his first love after all... they should be together, maemi is a good friend.. he never thought of maemi as lover before, and just treat her as a partner, i hate the ending.. it is a good drama at the beginning but the twist is just not related to the previous episode...kind of new plot at the end of the drama, first 6 episode is just half hanging, i wonder, who is the main leader for the actress...

I don't this it's such a big deal, because, if you consider that the drama with the HIGHEST rating of this season (Ryoma-den) just have 21%... 16.2% is pretty high.
compared to even two years, the number of dramas every season nearly doubled, so the highest peak also lowered.
and, like otomodachi0409 said, bad guy usually means lower rating, japanese fan's way of relating with idol's roles is a little bit odd...

I haven't watched the finale yet, so I'm not saying anything about it x°D

well i dont really care about ratings. and if u see the trend of jdramas currently, getting above 10% is considered quite good alr...

anyways i tot the drama was interesting. it kept me guessing throughout on who will rensuke end up with. and what kazami was planning exactly.

the scenes of rensukexmaemi were realli cute throughout the drama and i like the ending though i wish there was more den just that.

xiu mei was irritating throughout the entire drama. well tads my opinion. maybe it was the way she acted or spoke. or maybe it was the actress. idk.

there were many scenes that made me realli touched and feel the characters' pain and sorrow esp the scenes when yuzuki and maemi cried.
