Gah, I wish I could freaking write something. I am having zero luck. D: I think it's because I can't find anything decent to read and I haven't been listening to super awesome music today. Thursday was a good creative day for me, but today is just not doing it. It sucks ( Read more... )

Its like that with me when I try to draw. Sometimes I can make something really good and other days I can't do SHIT! lmao.

Bla is right. I've been in a creative drought for over a month now. If I'm lucky enough to see my muse, she usually shutting the door of the taxi she's taking to wherever, far away from me. Grrr. I need some serious mental intercourse, and now! It's like being fixed, you know? You just can't summon up the energies to commit the act anymore. Words still form in your mind but they don't flash and burn like they used to. We'll have to find a writer's block fix fast!

See, my blocks don't usually last that long. I'm just frustrated b/c here it's the weekend and I can't even write? I was writing mostly fic yesterday, just so I could feel like I was writing SOMETHING. I'm going to start on an angsty fic pretty soon, which should be a welcome change. I don't write a whole lot of angst for NCIS. Maybe that will help my poetry writer's block.

You remind me of the fact that I should listen to Sarah Slean again. I still haven't gotten all my songs back in iTunes, because I'm lazy like that. Haha. But yes, I should add Sarah again and that song and Eliot are two of my favs as well, so absolutely beautiful.

Isn't she amazing? I should really have found some more of her stuff last night when I was downloading stuff, but I NEEDED to get some more PJ Harvey and Antony! There was no question about that. I'm sure I still have some room, though, so that could be on my list for today. :D (I wish I weren't so obsessed with music sometimes, lol.)
