I've been meaning to make a new journal post for forever and ever now. I figure it'd actually happen if I did something lame like this.

Sorry to those who I haven't gotten in contact with and are finding out from this post, but I've no desire to repeat myself over and over and am more or less in emotional hiding right now.

The short: I will not be having a baby this summer because that baby is already dead.

I just got back from taking Kasumi to get her sutures removed. Sutures? What the heck? Some may ask. Others know. About a month ago, Kasumi developed a lump in her armpit. A rapidly growing lump. Today I finished the number on my headphones cord that my dear kitty Tuyen started. He has a notorious habit of chewing cords and cables. He chewed through to the wire, but not through the wire itself. Of course, said cable was so brilliantly wrapped around the arm of my chair when I backed suddenly away from my desk. The other night, a very, very dark night, we drove home from Marlboro, through the fog, stuck behind a slow out-of-stater with halogen headlights.
