In a surprise move that brought an end to the media blackout surrounding the story, my internet headlines today made passing reference to the current situation in which Ms. Paris Hilton finds herself.  I'll offer some commentary on the article ( after the cut: )

I mentioned before that the motor lodge at which I stay on my trips to Cornwall, Ontario has a sign out front that claims that "We Treat Our Guests Like Family". Two examples below illustrate how this is truth in advertising.

I'm dreaming of a White Christmas in Michigan, although it looks like a gray, drizzly one will have to do. It matters not, though, since I'm with the family for double-digit days consecutively for the first time since September.
