LOL. Yer speakin' to a part Cajun sweetie, I've been to N'awlin's a number of times. :D We used to drive down there all the time. I really miss being able to eat beignets. :( I also miss king cake...SIGH.
On the plus side, hopefully I'll be able to see the riverwalk and aquarium again, though. I really miss the aquarium and zoo they have. :3
I'll prolly be fine as far as the surgery goes. In a weird kind of way, I almost hope it is cancerous, 'cause then they'll just take everything out. I have NO use for my uterus, dammit. -_-

Yep! And for the same reason your doctor wanted to scrape the lining out of you. Why on earth she didn't suggest burning it is beyond me. Is it because your insurance wouldn't cover it? That's the only thing I can think of...

In my case, my OB/GYN doctor just wanted me to have a 'normal' period unlike the hell periods I've had lately (i.e. MONTH-LONG periods o~O)! I've always had extremely heavy periods (i.e. changing pads every 1-2 hours for the first 3 days of my period with a giant blast to say good-bye at the end), and my doctor told me that wasn't normal XP! I only went in to see her because of the month-long periods. She never mentioned my insurance wouldn't cover it or anything though. It SHOULD cover it considering how much I pay for insurance monthly though ;b!
It sounds like your mom is just trying to avoid her actual family in favor of a family that doesn't know how she is in reality X(! I hope Dr. Harris was able to fix that heart side-effect 8(!

I've told her that a million times over. The funny thing is, the people she seduces with her superficial sweetness usually end up figuring her out and telling her to fuck off because she gets more and more like her real self and they see her for what she really is. They usually feel sorry that they didn't believe me, too. XD
