I'll post since I'm desperately trying to get to sleep with no luck. Tonight we went to see an early screening of Quantum Solace, that new James Bond film. Thanks Keith and Amber for the free passes! I took 2 extra days off this week and was hoping to catch up on some projects. Didn't happen, nope, didn't even think about it. Friday I took Molly to Red Rock Canyon and we went hiking with Vaso, Nike, Renee, Jake, RC, Kyle and Sean. We found a great little spot that we stopped to rest and took some nice pictures. So, as predicted, we are not "going live" with our new computer system this Sunday. We are still getting logged off every two hours and it seems to be a firewall issue. Bad thing is, the guy who fixes that is in Italy with his wife, who is in charge of the whole new computer system! The GREAT thing is, all of the mandatory overtime that was ( Read more... )

I love little surprises such as receiving 3 months of back pay earlier than expected. :)

Working my eighth straight day in a row with 3 more to go. :( Then I get one day off and it starts all over again. The new computer system keeps logging us out about every two hours for no reason, so all of this extra overtime and training may have been for nothing if we can't get it fixed. So we interviewed this lady a month or so ago who was extremely excited at the prospect of getting hired. She was extremely interested in getting the job of a dispatcher and would have done just about anything to pass the interview. Now I know why she appeared so desperate ( Read more... )

Ow....Pain Pump class really kicked my ass tonight. I wasn't such a weenie tonight and doubled my weight that I use on the bar...I'm so going to be paying for that tomorrow if the way I feel right now is any indication.
