white christmas is on!

I adore White Christmas. It's my very favorite Christmas movie :)

I was sick at home for Thanksgiving. I couldn't stop coughing, so I missed turkey dinner. Sadmaking.

So whatever, here's around 1800 words of a larger fic that may or may not ever be finished:

Patrick clutches his satchel to his chest as the train rocks to a stop. )

crack, harvey girls au, bandslash

...where's the rest? There has to be more! Gerard and Mikey are dressed as girls! Crossdressing ftw! So, yeah, more please!

*laughs* I have a few other scenes written, but my muse just went poof. I'm hoping to write more soon!

I loved this!

I do hope you write more, since it seems unfinished.

*laughs* thanks! It's the beginning part of my Harvey Girls AU - I'm just sort of stuck on it right now.

Cool!

I offer to help you talk through the parts that stick.

I might need it. I've added so many characters that it got kind of out of control and scattered!

You put Gerard and Mikey in drag, and it appears to be justified by the plot! That is so awesome. I'm intrigued by the cryptic conversation, too, but seriously. CORSETS FTW. :D

You've somehow made me very fond of Ashlee. How did that happen? She's kind of great, though.

Brendon's reaction to Ryan cracked me up, and I love that you made Ryan a cardsharp. I'm really looking forward to this fic now, and not just because there are good odds of Spencer Smith in a low-slung gunbelt... ;)

*g* It's TOTALLY justified by plot. Kind of :) They make such pretty but awkward girls!

Honestly, you could get away with even the tiniest justification. When you're starting with an idea from the musical comedy genre, it's pretty easy to get away with even really insane things. :) Not that anyone would mind completely unjustified corsets, in this of all fandoms.

I know, right? Nnrgh. Although I can't seem to choose between picturing girly!young!Spencer or the more recent scruffy!Spencer in a gunbelt. They both have their selling points. ;)

they do, oh man, which one? SO HARD TO DECIDE! I think I might go for the scruffy broad shouldered Spencer, just because Brendon would be all over that. In my head.

Are you still sick from the sick you've had for ages? Sorry you missed Turkey on Turkey day.

White Christmas is my favoritest Christmas movie of all time. I cry every time when they bust into "We'll follow the old man..." at the end.

The same sickness - it just keeps clinging to me!

The end kills me, but I love love love the scene were Bing and Rosemary sing Count Your Blessings. I love this movie so much.

I'm going to make myself go see one if it's not gone by Monday. It's getting marginally better, and I hate being on meds.

Danny Kaye is pretty awesome - he's so adorably dorky!
