I see a hit, babe! It's brilliant. It's got everything for a crossover pre/post-genX demographic. Remake of a kitschy classic with just enough nostalgia to hook the grandparents, just enough irony and edge to get the parents AND the twenty somethings, and just enough slapstick and fart joke potential for the tweens and kiddies! VERY interesting ... simply wonderful character bios

and Christopher Walken as the professor sealed the deal

Needs pirates. How could they have gone on as long as they did and not once, not *once* had pirates? But you can fix that....

Don't you worry about it. We had a three episode pirate story arc at the end of season 1 into season 2.
Gilly discovers the pirates' buried treasure and some old flintlocks> If he can get the black powder to work. he may be able to use the weapons at the right time.
He also finds a small airplane with it's distributor cap and radio smashed.
.Gilly has to trick Kurtz into making a new radio and distributor cap out of coconut shells without tipping his hand.
BTW, the pirates are ghost pirates, so we have that angle covered.
