It still baffles me the amount of time and energy spent talking about, investigatng, debating, and producing oddball documentaries on UFO sightings. Doesn't anybody see a pattern here? These UFOs that people see conveniently take off at incredible speeds, just before anybody can get a hi-resolution picture or video feed of them each and every time ( Read more... )

Bad news, folks. Thunderstorms in Belmar, and all over the region, for the whole weekend. The glorious, triumphant ride to the tide will go on as planned, though I am no longer requesting anyone be there. Well I'm finally leaving Mooresville, on the last leg of my journey, up the coast to Nueva Jersey. It's about 650 miles and should take me 10 days of riding or less, depending on how hard I feel like riding. I'll most likely end the trip in Belmar, where I'll dip my front wheel in the Atlantic Ocean ( Read more... )

Last night a yellow lab retriever came up to me to be petted. He was a really nice dog, very friendly and playful. I spotted a tennis ball with the telltale signs of dog drool and months of dirt collected on it and said to him in a very commanding voice, "Give me that ball! I want that ball!"
