Change of Plans
Bad news, folks. Thunderstorms in Belmar, and all over the region, for the whole weekend. The glorious, triumphant ride to the tide will go on as planned, though I am no longer requesting anyone be there. I'm fine with getting hit by a little lightning, but I'd feel terrible if any of you did. And actually, it makes things easier on me so I don't have to ride 120 miles today in order to stay on schedule.
However, if anybody is going to be at the shore regardless, give me a call and we'll find a place to play that game where you catapult rubber frogs onto plastic lilly pads with a mallet on the boardwalk in attempt to win a 4-foot stuffed giraffe. Either way, we'll hang out soon.
