There's a difference between Cook/Effy and Tony/Michelle. Effy loves Freddie, she wouldn't say that to Cook if she wasn't sure cause he's already down and she obviously cares about him. Tony and Michelle, meanwhile, loved each other. There was never anybody else they had those feelings for, they screwed around for other reasons.
Series 2 episode 2- Maxxie gets a stalker who sticks pictures of him all over her walls, goes into his house, tells her family all about her new friends and boyfriend, and finally gets off with him but doesn't end up with him.
Series 4 episode 2- Naomi gets a stalker who sticks pictures of her all over her walls, goes into her house, tells her family all about her new friends and girlfriend, and finally gets off with her but doesn't end up with her.
Coincident, I think not.
I want to believe that its really clever reflecting, but I'm thinking it's just lazy story recycling. :(
Yeah I know, right! Hmm, I kind of agree. There's only so far you can go with a happy, loved-up couple without it getting boring [apart from Emily and Naomi, of course, who I could watch 'til the cows come home]. And I don't really get what Effy sees in Freddie. He's hot, but not exactly exciting.
