break-in
someone broke into my apt. yesterday and took my roomate's laptop (not much else). Could have been a whole lot worse. Best info at this point indicates they were inside Monday to case the joint, and then left in a hurry after just starting when we got home around 6pm yesterday (Tuesday). An idea
I want to plot every "good" or "bad" thing that happens to me as color coded dots on a timeline, only counting things that are major enough to affect my mood for at least a day. Maybe there should be some way of measuring the magnitude, too--I'm not sure. Then, I'd like to do some sort of statistical analysis and/or datamining on it to find out how ( Read more... ) -

yesterday was ridiculous
Kevin, Anthony and I skied at Loon mountain all day. We saw all the daylight we could, and none of it in MA--it was a hell of a fun trip. It was great to get some variety in terrain after all this time at Wachusett. In the afternoon, after our teleboards had been in the tune-up shop, Anthony and I switched over to them. ski trip delayed a week
The peak of sugarloaf is supposed to between -24F and -14F on Friday, and with winds of ~20mph, I hesitate to allow myself to imagine how it would feel accounting for wind chill. Even with all the one-piece things I wear these days on the slopes, I'm not that sure there are no chinks in my armor. Funny thing is, all the schedule changes have worked ( Read more... ) -

Teleboarding fun w/keys
Yesterday the conditions at Wachusett were good enough that I actually had a great time on some [] and <> trails on the teleboard. Having powder kicking around like it was really points out the board's raison d'etre. One run on conifer saw me on the verge of involuntarily yelling "wooo" at the top of my lungs.
